Okay, so I've just started working my way through this one, and I have already laugh/peed twice.

Generally, I really appreciate essay-style memoirs, because I feel like life is rarely interesting in a measured, linear way. What I adore about this book, so far, is Irby's "train of thought" style of writing, because it is so relatable. Her self-deprecating truths about beauty product obsessions alone made me stand up and yell, "YES, GIRL!" I may have also Googled some of her favorites.

What we need as a pandemic-fatigued community, right now, is someone who is willing to lead the charge into whole-hearted, abundant fuck loss, and Wow, No Thank You is off to a great start.
